Greetings!

As we are preparing for the opening of “Fiber Fusion” at VALA in a few weeks, we are also thinking ahead to the spring.

We are seeking proposals from SDA members who would like to teach a class or workshop or even a presentation of your art process during “Fiber Fusion” shows at the Schack Art Center in Everett and also at Northwind Arts Center in Port Townsend.

Suggestions we’ve heard are gelli printing, monoprinting, thermofax, felting, dyeing, silk painting, book making, basketry, collage. We would like to provide classes for novice to advanced level and youth through adults.

There are wet and dry facilities, large rooms with tables and electrical outlets, so the possibilities are endless.

PLEASE NOTE—The deadline has been extended for “Fiber Fusion” class proposals, even though their website says they were due October 14.
