New Meeting!

SDA Artists’ Working Group
Saturday, Nov 12, 11am–1pm

Capitol Hill Library
425 Harvard Ave E Seattle WA 98102

SDA is hosting an Artists U* working group meeting, open to all members! The purpose is to build sustainable lives as artists by clarifying and accomplishing goals. This is a five-month subgroup of the Seattle SDA group, and will not substitute for the regular Seattle SDA meetings.

A working group is 4–15 artists who do Artists U assignments and then meet to discuss. Members make four key documents: a plan, a mission statement, a personal budget and a calendar. The SDA working group will meet for two hours on the second Saturday of the month for five months, starting in November. Meetings are free.

Francesca will also be at the next SDA meeting at Delridge Library on Oct 19.

*Artists U is a non-profit that developed the working group curriculum based on its book Making Your Life as an Artist. Materials include the Making Your Life as an Artist book, workbook and six-page working group curriculum. To learn more and for free downloads: http://www.artistsu.org/working.
