We are looking for an WA SDA member(s) to organize and run a holiday sale at the VALA Art Center in conjunction with the Fiber Fusion exhibition and Redmond’s biggest yearly event- Redmond Lights on December 3. VALA has moved to a new, larger space! They are still in the Redmond town square amidst all the shopping action, but now in a beautiful exhibition space. While the move came in the middle of our planning, the outcome is that we will be able to display many pieces that we thought might be too large for the old space, so there will be no limitation on the size of pieces for the regional show! Eastside SDA members will have additional time to enter other pieces larger than the original 12 by 12” restriction — we have extended the entry deadline until 10/29/16. Eastside SDA artists who live or work in the Eastside area (Renton, Fall City, North Bend, Redmond, Newcastle, Bellevue, Issaquah, Kirkland, Woodinville, Carnation, Medina, Mercer Island, Sammamish, Snoqualmie or Bothell) are qualified to submit.
